A Whimsical Garden Editorial at McGovern Centennial Gardens

Tucked away at Hermann Park in the heart of downtown Houston is one of our all time favorite venues - McGovern Centennial Gardens. Our team is lucky to work at this venue frequently and we love the diversity and beauty of the the Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion and Celebration Garden.

This Spring, our Associate Planner Vanessa designed and executed an editorial to show off our favorite space. The result was a whimsical garden escape in the middle of the city. Check out the full story featured on Style Me Pretty!

First up - seating chart. Vanessa worked with Yellow Rose Calligraphy to create a stunning display of candles to double as the seating chart.

Becca Cakes created a neutral but textured cake displayed in front of the celebration Garden’s signature gates which were covered in florals from Blush Floral Co.

We are firm believers that you invitation suite sets the tone for your entire wedding experience. It allows your guests to get a peek into what they will see and feel on your actual wedding day. Yellow Rose Calligraphy knocked it out of the park with this design. A custom monogram, patterned liners and a touch of gold foil, oh my!

The table design was a true collaboration with Blush Floral Co providing a cascade of florals down the side of our head table linen provided by House of Hough. Berring’s Hardware provided the perfect pink china to complement the design and Aztec’s chairs were the perfect touch of organic garden.

Our real life couple Mackenzie & Charles were full of grace in a stunning gown by Belle Ame Bridal and Hair and Makeup by Adorne Artistry.
